  • CHS experience: Cranford High School 2017 lacrosse Team
For my student corner section I have chosen to talk about Cranford High School JV Lacrosse. Lacrosse at the High School level is very competitive. It is a fast paced game with countless hours of practice. This 2017 season there are two teams JV and varsity. This year I am personally on the JV team. This year so far the Varsity team has not done so well in terms of games. They are 2 wins and 9 losses. Although this record does not seem good, the team works very hard. This year for JV has been very successful so far. With a record of 8 wins and 2 losses, this has been one of the best JV seasons at Cranford High School. This year JV had got a new coach, Coach Mike Cohrs in addition to Coach Cory LoForte. The varsity coach, Coach Al Reinoso has been a great coach in terms of making all of us better players. Coming up is the County Tournament for Varsity and, Cranford hopes to win the First round on Friday. Also coming up is a fund raiser for the whole team! It will be at Blaze Pizza in Clark Commons Monday May 1st from 5 to 9 P.M. I Hope to continue my success on the JV team as well as the continuation of the overall success of the whole team!
