This Week's Athlete of the Week

Congratulations to this week's Athletes of the Week, Aiden Zagarola & Sanaa Wright. Aiden, a senior on the varsity tennis team, has filled in as second singles while continuing in the first doubles position. Because of his willingness to play out of position, he has helped the Cougars start strong this season with a 5-1 record. Aiden will be looking to improve his record this week with the Union County Tournament coming in in early May. On Saturday, at the Dodgertown Relays in Madison, junior Sanaa Wright led the Cougars to the gold medal in the high jump with the top overall jump of the meet, jumping 5 feet. Sanaa's jump was the top mark out of all athletes competing from 20 teams from across the County & State. Sanaa also helped her team medal in both the 4x100m relay and the long jump relay.
