Congratulations to this week's athlete of the week, sponsored by the Grandstand, located on North Avenue in Cranford, Josiah Cadet & Grace Power. Josiah, a junior on the track & field team, recently set a school record in the 400m intermediate hurdles with a time of 55.15 seconds and placed second overall in the Union County Conference. Grace, a freshman on the varsity lacrosse team, is the leading scorer for the Cougars with 42 to date. She has also been names to the Top 20 Freshman in the State by NJ.com. Grace scored 3 goals and had one assist in the Cougars overtime victory in the first round of the State Tournament.
