Mr. Leong has overall taught me a lot aside from science; whether it would be advice or just solely on helping me with anything. He's a very relatable teacher and deserves to be in the spotlight.

Mr Leong goes above and beyond day in and day out, he is the heartbeat of the school, a vital element in the cycle of education here at Cranford High School. A leader and an advocate of knowledge, his presence in the building lifts the spirits of his colleagues and his students. Mike is and forever will be synonymous with researched based instructional scaffolding. He is always prompt and shows rigor when filing all of his SGOs, his PLCs, and PDPs, when he is reading students IEPs, 504s, dealing with the ICS, or the ESL and GT students, he is an active member of the CEA, the FOE, KOC, BCA and his children's PTA His assessments both summative and formative are curriculum based backwards designs and align with all CCL Standards as well as 21st century learning. His classroom structure shows evidence of common core learning based on Bloom's Taxonomy, but Mike also finds space to work in cognitive and non cognitive learning skills with each lesson.
