She is very laid back and understands how to teach to every kid in the class a different way so that they can get the best out of their experience. Without Mrs. Morrisey's patience getting through Honors Chem and excelling would be very difficult. And for that reason I am nominating Mrs. Morrisey.

Mrs. Morrissey is hands down the best teacher I’ve had throughout my years in school. She has the ability to explain difficult concepts to large groups of people while going into as much depth as necessary. She is extremely patient and is more than willing to explain the same concept multiple times until the whole class understands it. In addition to her expertise in teaching chemistry, she knows how to properly handle teenagers without losing her temper and even engages in some off-topic discussions every now and then, sharing a laugh with her students. She is very accommodating and overall a kind, qualified teacher who definitely deserves to be in the spotlight.
