-My hobby is making stained glass. Ms Koester has one in the Welcome Center.
-I’m from Richmond Virginia, but also spent many years living in Maryland.
-I love seafood, especially from the Chesapeake Bay—crabs, oysters and Rockfish.
-I love coming to school with my children. I’ll be sad when Charlie graduates in 2026.

Ms.Santamauro is truly an incredible teacher. Not only is she dedicated to her students understanding what we're learning and always makes herself available for extra help, she really cares about her students. She makes attempts to get to know you outside of just school, and is always trying to keep students engaged and having fun. She's just one of the most encouraging, engaging, and kind people I've had teacher me. Plus she introduced me to WORDLE.

Mission Statement

Founded in 2017, the purpose of the "CHS Spotlight" is to honor and preserve the legacy of our CHS teacher, faculty, and staff family who have left a significant impact on CHS.

Nomination Form:

MUST be filled out and submitted through our secure Google Form in order for any current CHS teacher, faculty, or staff member to be considered to be in the spotlight. Nominations are reconsidered every month if the teacher, faculty, or staff member that was nominated is not yet in the spotlight. A teacher, faculty, or staff member will not be reconsidered to be in the spotlight again until two years have passed since they were in.
