- When I started college, I drove around in a pink Vespa. I've since upgraded to 4-wheels!
- I went swimming with sharks (Nurse sharks... if that counts) in the Dominican Republic.
- I've gone skydiving and will never do that again!
- I absolutely love Lancaster cupcakes and black coffee.
- In my free time, I love to read psychological thrillers, watch docuseries on Netflix, and "flip"/makeover rooms in my home.
- My new name is Basile...NOT pronounced like the herb!

Mrs. Basile has impacted my time at ChS for the better and provided it with such happiness. She is one of the most hardworking , kind, and fun -loving teachers at CHS. She has looked out for me in ways other then just being my teacher. The way she cares for her students is unbelievable. She deserves to be “in the spotlight” because she looks beyond the classroom and looks out for her students outside of school. She fills the room with such happiness, and makes english fun!

Mission Statement

Founded in 2017, the purpose of the "CHS Spotlight" is to honor and preserve the legacy of our CHS teacher, faculty, and staff family who have left a significant impact on CHS.

Nomination Form:

MUST be filled out and submitted through our secure Google Form in order for any current CHS teacher, faculty, or staff member to be considered to be in the spotlight. Nominations are reconsidered every month if the teacher, faculty, or staff member that was nominated is not yet in the spotlight. A teacher, faculty, or staff member will not be reconsidered to be in the spotlight again until two years have passed since they were in.
